Lithuania x Male!Neko!Reader

I don't really have a title for this. I just had a dream and decided to make a reader insert out of it.

   Silence.


It was an amazing feature of life. The quiet that filled the room was peaceful, something the Baltic nation really needed.
These soft and mute moments were rare for him, considering his closest friend were so noisy.

His closest friends being the country of Poland and a cat-boy named [Y/N]. Yes, a cat-boy.

Lithuania didn't mind, though. It was honestly cute.

He liked how his tail swayed when he was happy, the way his ears twitched when he was confused...
And don't get him started about how adorable he looked when you pet him and he purred.
He could ramble about that all day.

But right now was no time to be swooning over a cat hybrid. It was the time to relish in the sweet isolation he deserved.
He placed the book in his hands onto his lap, relaxing his posture and letting the couch catch his weight. A soft sigh of content followed.

The calm and quiet atmosphere dragged him into the welcoming arms of sleep.

And lets just say, he didn't have the most welcoming awakening.

"LIET! GET UP, GET UP, GET UP!" the Lithuanian man was startled awake by loud screeches and hands jabbing at his side.
"STOP BEING SUCH A LAZY BUM AND GET UP, HURRY LITHY!" He was too tired to make out the voice, but he managed to clarify his vision with a few blinks.
His emerald eyes revealed the panicking form of his neko friend, [Y/N]. Key word being panicking. At the sight of his friend's frantic nature, - Bristling tail and sharp ears - Lithuania jumped up with a start, "What? What's happening!?"

[Y/N] screamed, "I'm missing my favorite show, [Favorite Show], and you're sleeping on the remote! Liet, get off! It's a new episode! I CAN'T MISS IT, OH MY GOD!!!"

Lithuania flinched back at the sheer force that was in [Y/N]'s voice. It was honestly frightening that someone could get so scared over a stupid TV show.
But, then again, he knew Poland.

Lithuania shifted away from his position to allow [Y/N] access to the remote. The cat hybrid took it quickly, frantically switching on the TV and jamming the buttons to the channel his show was on. A loud groan of disappointment made its way out of [Y/N]'s lips as he found out that the episode was already half way done, and he had no idea what the characters where talking about.

 "No! Lithuania, this is all your fault, ugh!" The [Brown/Blonde/Black/Etc.] haired male crossed his arms and pouted, looking away from the Lithuanian. His ears were down and his tail with fluffed up with a sense of anger. The Baltic country thought that was cute. Lithuania didn't know how it was his fault, he was sleeping! Also, he didn't know anything of [Y/N]'s favorite show, let alone when it came on. However, he just sighed, reaching out a pale hand and placed it on the hybrid's back. "I'm sorry, [Y/N]. I didn't know when your show came on." Honestly, he didn't think he should've been apologizing.

Annoyed [E/C] eyes became calm and cool, [Y/N]'s frown melting into a soft smile, "It's okay, I guess. I could always find it on YouTube... People have everything on there!" They both chuckled lightly, even though Lithuania knew almost nothing about the internet. ( despite the fact that Estonia always tried to get him hooked to it )

"How about we watch something on Netflix instead? Maybe that'll take your mind off it," Lithuania suggested, switching the Wii on and putting on the Netflix channel. [Y/N]'s ears perked up and his tail wavered a little, "Yea! Lets watch a rom-com, Lithy! A rom-com!" Emerald eyes blinked, "A romantic comedy? I never knew you liked those."

An embarrassed blush appeared on [Y/N]'s face, "Heh... What can I say? I'm a hopeless romantic!"

They directed their attention to the movie that was picked, the movie being [Favorite Rom-Com].

And it wasn't even awkward when the Lithuanian slipped his arm around the smaller [Nationality] male and the neko wrapped his tail around the country's waist.
